Miss Sammie Holso began dancing in Rapid City, SD at the age of just two years old, she grew up dancing locally training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. Through those years she performed in many recitals as well as in the Nutcracker on many occasions. While in the Nutcracker she meet her Idol Misty Copeland, who inspired her to keep dancing. Holso than later moved to Arizona where she attended the Tempe Dance Academy and performed in the High School Dance team, Hamilton Dance Company. She then moved back to Rapid City and continued taking dance lessons at her local studio. She joined the Central High School dance team, Cobbler Coeds. During her Senior year she became dance captain of the Coeds and lead her team in various dance competitions. Upon graduation, Sammie joined the Bombshell dance team of Rapid City and danced with them for 2 years. She was also a Cheerleader for the Rapid City Rush Hockey team. She took time off dance for a year to focus on her career but after a while got a job teaching at a different local Studio, there she taught, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and cheer. Miss Sammie as sense relocated at this amazing studio, Barefoot Dance Studio, where she is continuing her love for dance.
