Mini-Hip Hop

Mini-Hip-Hop begins dancers off with basic Hip-Hop skills for children ages 4-6. This class is a jumping off point for our littlest students. Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

Hip-Hop 1
Fun and energetic. This class serves as a further introduction to Hip Hop dance for the younger student ages 6-8. We focus on rhythm, musicality and basic footwork. This is a great way to put all of that youthful energy to good use!!! Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

 

Hip-Hop 2
(P
rerequisite for this Level is Hip Hop 1. Enrollment is based on instructor recommendation.)

These classes teach the fundamentals of hip hop movement. They are high energy classes incorporating full body strength, rhythm, musicality, and footwork. Students taking this class should have some previous hip hop experience. Students learn age/level appropriate choreography. With the heightening popularity of hip hop these days, this is a great way to help your student to become a more well rounded dancer! Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

Hip-Hop 3

(Prerequisite for this Level is Hip Hop 2. Enrollment is based on instructor recommendation.)


This class takes all the elements from  previous Hip Hop levels while turning it up a few notches!  Learn more intricate, musicality driven choreography taught at a slightly faster pace. This class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

 

Hip-Hop 4

(Prerequisite for this Level is Hip Hop 3. Enrollment is based on instructor recommendation.)


Learn today’s hottest Hip Hop moves with an occasional old school flare including progressions across the floor. Build on even more intricate, musicality driven choreography taught at a much faster pace. Further your experience in the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking This class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

Hip-Hop 5 & 6

(Prerequisite for this Level is Hip Hop 4. Enrollment is based on instructor recommendation.)


This class is for our most advanced Hip Hop students. A high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. This class will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.This class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.
