Miss Olivia Norrick started dancing when she was just three years old. She was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota and spent fourteen years dancing at a local studio. Olivia's training included classes in Ballet, Contemporary Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Modern Dance. Trying out the different dance styles throughout the years helped her find that she favors Ballet and Tap. In addition to taking classes herself, Olivia spent time assisting the instructor in lower level ballet classes for four years. She found that she really enjoys teaching and working with children and is pursuing a career in early childhood education. During her time dancing with her local studio Olivia has danced in several productions of The Nutcracker, put on by Black Hills Dance Theatre and the Moscow Ballet. Olivia is so excited to be able to be a part of Barefoot Dance and share her passion for dance with others.
