Fundamentals of Dance is a class designed for dancers of all ages who need broad overview of dance fundamentals including Ballet basics and Modern and Jazz intros.  This class helps prepare the new dancer for our regular classes or can act as a great add-on to build technical strength for those that want to move up to a more advanced level of dancing.

Ballet/Modern 1 is the perfect class for dancers ages 6 and up. This class focuses on Ballet technique for beginners and ends with shoes off and a lesson in Modern dance!! Kids love this combo class. Combine with Tap 1 and you have a well-rounded dancer! Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

 

Ballet/Modern 2 is a combo class for the young dancer with a couple years experience under their belt. Level 2 involves more technique work and a broadening of ballet vocabulary. As always, we kick off our shoes in this class for a lesson in modern dance before we go. Combine with Tap 2! Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital!

 

Ballet 3 is the perfect class for the dancer ready to excel in their dance technique. Must have approval from instructor to register for this class. This class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital. With teacher approval you can combine this class with level 2 or 4 ballet to quickly strengthen your dance technique.

Ballet 4 is for our advanced dancers with many years of Ballet training and registration must be approved by instructor. Class meets once a week and dancers are highly recommended to take our Ballet 3 or 5 class in tandem. This class will help prepare students bodies for Pointe shoes and higher level classes. This class performs in our annual Spring recital.

 

Ballet 5 is for the very serious Ballet dancer with many years of Ballet training. Ballet 5 integrates Pointe shoes but does not require. This class requires teacher approval and is highly recommended that it be combined with either Ballet 4 or 6. It is required to be combined with another level if student is working on pointe. Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

 

Ballet 6 is our most advanced Ballet class. Teacher approval is needed for this class. Ballet 6 is also the perfect class for advanced Pointe dancers.  Class meets once a week and we highly recommend that this class be taken with either level 4 or 5 ballet. Class performs in our annual Spring recital.

Pre-Pointe is a required class for any dancer looking to receive their Pointe shoes using the  .  This class requires instructor approval

and does NOT perform in our annual recital.

Creative Movement 1 combines basic Ballet skills with creative movement activities for children ages 3-5. This class is our jumping off point for our littlest students. Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

Creative Movement 2 combines basic Ballet skills with creative movement activities with a stronger focus on technique than our CM 1 class and is designed for children ages 4-6 depending on experience. Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.

Creative Movement 2 and Mini Tap combines basic Ballet skills with creative movement activities with a stronger focus on technique than our CM 1 class and is designed for children ages 4-6 depending on experience. This class combines  with tap to give these students a taste of rhythm as well. CM2 prepares dancers for our regular leveled dance classes. Class meets once a week and performs in our annual Spring recital.
