ATTIRE


Creative Movement 1: Tights and leotard in any style or color and pink leather/canvas ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled up and back (preferably a bun). Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), a fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose fitting), and black leather/canvas ballet shoes.

Creative Movement 2: Tights and leotard in any style or color and pink leather/canvas ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled up and back (preferably a bun). Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), a fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose), and black leather/canvas ballet shoes.

 

Ballet/Modern 1, and 2: CONVERTIBLE or FOOTLESS tights and leotard in any style or color and pink leather/canvas ballet shoes. Ballet skirt or shorts are acceptable. Hair should be pulled up and back into a bun. Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), a fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose fitting), and black leather/canvas ballet shoes.

Ballet 3, 4, 5 & 6: Black leotard (any style) and light tights, pink canvas or leather ballet shoes. Ballet skirts or shorts are okay. Hair should be up in a bun. Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), an athletic or fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose fitting), and black leather/canvas ballet shoes

Mini-Tap: Tights and leotard in any style and black tap shoes (ribbons/laces/buckles all okay). Hair should be pulled up and back (preferably a bun). Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), a fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose), and black tap shoes.

 

Tap Classes: Jazz/Yoga/Legging pant and slim fit tank or tee. Students can also pull pants over their tights and leotard if they choose. Black lace up tap shoes. Hair pulled up and back. No jeans or street attire/uniforms. 

 

Modern 3, 4 & 5: Dance leotard in any style or color, along with jazz or yoga pants/leggings (long), and slim fit tank allowed. No shoes are required for Modern. Hair pulled up and back. Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), an athletic or fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose fitting).

 

Jazz Classes: Dance leotard in any style or color, along with jazz or yoga pants/leggings (long), and slim fit tank. Tan slip on jazz shoes. Hair pulled up and back. Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), an athletic or fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose fitting).

Hip-Hop Classes: Sweats/Yoga Pants/Leggings and a tank or tee. No jeans or street attire/uniforms. Clean, flat-soled tennis shoes that are worn only to Hip-Hop (preferable a black high top since these will be required for recital).  Students should change into your Hip-Hop shoes when you arrive so they are clean! Hair pulled up and back.

Lyrical Classes: Dance leotard in any style or color, along with jazz or yoga pants/leggings (long), and slim fit tank or tee. Dance paw shoes. Hair pulled up and back. Boys should wear jazz or yoga pants (long), an athletic or fitted shirt (no clothing that is too loose fitting).

Mini Tumblers: Dance leotard in any style or color, dance shorts, no tights. No shoes are required for mini-tumblers. Hair pulled up and back. Boys should wear a fitted or athletic shirt and shorts.

 

Acro: Dance leotard in any style or color, dance shorts, no tights. No shoes are required for Acro. Hair pulled up and back. Boys should wear a fitted or athletic shirt and shorts.

Cheer: Dance leotard in any style or color, dance shorts, no tighter. Clean, flat-soled tennis shoes, preferably white, that are worn only to Cheer are required. Students should change into your Cheer shoes when you arrive so they are clean! Hair pulled up and back.

 

Musical Theatre: Jazz/Yoga/Legging pant and slim fit tank or tee. Students can also pull pants over their tights and leotard if they choose. Slip on jazz shoes or barefoot. Hair pulled up and back. Please no jeans or street attire/uniforms. 

 

Art: Could get messy...dress appropriately.

 

Drama: Be comfortable, but leotards are not necessary. We recommend movable clothing.

Please adhere to the following attire. If you have any questions regarding attire please ask your instructor. All shoes should be labeled with student initials or name on the inside. Students not dressed appropriately for class may be asked to sit out. Dress codes may be altered to teacher discretion. The above attire items can be purchased in our Barefoot Boutique.
