Dance Camps and Intensives

Dancing Stories Dance Camp:

Each day of camp begins with a book which inspires the day’s events through dance, crafts, games and music! 

Ages 3-5: August 15, 17, 19 from 4:00-5:30 pm.  $50

Ages 6 and up: August 22, 24, 26 from 4:00-6:00 pm. $65

Ballet Intensive:

This intensive is for the advanced dancer and includes Pointe for those dancers who have teacher approval.  Any advanced dancer interested in auditioning for this year’s Nutcracker* is encouraged to attend.  Get ready for fall classes by improving your technique!  Mrs. Sarah Cat teaches Nutcracker variations and prepares dancers for the audition process.

Modern Intensive

So you think you can dance?  In this intensive four different Modern dance ideas are explored.  Laban/Barenieff Fundamentals, Release Technique, Merce Cunningham Technique/Choreography and contemporary modern dance.  This intensive is a muct for any intermediate/advanced dancer who want to find their edge in movement.  Includes video and opportunities to learn excerpts of popular modern dances.
