POLICIES:
Payment Policies: Payment is due at the first class of every month. The monthly tuition rate is the same each month no matter how many weeks fall in that month. A late fee of $5.00 will be added to tuition if payments are made after the first class of every month. No contract must be signed so withdrawal must be in writing to Miss Andrea or these monthly charges will be invoiced.
Attendance Policies: Attendance is important for any student’s success, please attempt to be present for every class. In the event of absence, students may attend a make-up class. To arrange a make-up class, it is your responsibility to arrange it through Miss Andrea. Out of consideration, please attempt to let Miss Andrea know if a student will be missing a class. 415-1111
Withdrawal Policy: Miss Andrea should be notified immediately in writing if a student must withdraw from a class. Because the space will be held for that student, charges will be invoiced until Miss Andrea is notified in writing of that withdrawal.

Attire Policies: Proper dance shoes should be worn for each discipline; Ballet shoes for ballet, Jazz shoes for Jazz, Tap shoes for Tap, bare feet are used in Modern dance, but arrangements can be made if this is an issue. Leotard and tights are preferred for ballet. Leotard and dance pants are preferred for Jazz, Tap, and Modern. Colors and styles are up to the student to encourage confidence and self-expression.
Weather: If Rapid City Public Schools are cancelled or let out early for weather, classes will not be held. If any other weather circumstance should arise, Miss Andrea will do her best to notify all students of cancellations.
Cancellations will be posted to the website barefootdancestudio.com. If you are unsure of a cancellation please call Miss Andrea @ 415-1111.
Performance Policies: A contract will be signed for performances when all dates and times are established. It is extremely difficult to change choreography if a student withdrawals from a performance. Classes become a team when they prepare for performance so every child is crucial in a successful show. No refunds will be given on performance deposits or costume fees if child withdraws from performances after contract is signed.
Cancellation Policy: Miss Andrea does not have substitute teachers for her classes at this time, so if she should be ill or have any other reason that she should not be able to attend class, phone calls will be given to each student and make-up classes will be arranged by her. Miss Andrea reserves the right to cancel a class due to low attendance or inconsistent attendance, and refunds will be arranged in this case.
